Things to keep in mind:

  • Decisions are made on household “gross income.” This means you can combine the entire income of your household even if only one person is applying. For example: If you make $45,000/year, your spouse makes $40,000/year, and your 21 year-old son who lives at home makes $30,000/year; your annual gross income would be 45+40+30= $115,000/year.
  • You can finance as much or as little as you would like. If you are approved for $25,000, but the cost of your project is only $15,000, you do not have to use the entire $25,000.
